Six of the best for S African students

The first six racers to cross the line in the inaugural race of South Africa's Ladies Cup had all been coached by California Superbike School.

Held at the famous Zwartkops circuit, eighteen ladies lined up to start, all riding 600cc machines, making it the biggest ladies’ grid seen in the country. Although the majority of competitors had never raced before, half the field had been coached by California Superbike School staff from the UK and the results were impressive.

Race organiser (and competitor) Wilmarie Janse Van Rensburg was delighted with the standard of racing; “The ladies absolutely loved every moment of it and are now becoming so competitive that each them seem to know exactly what it is they need to work on now to get quicker. Watch this class, it’s going to become one of the most popular and competitive classes to watch in circuit racing!”
