What can I say?

Level 1 was a revelation, and I got so much more out of it than I thought I would.

You think you know about counter steering...until the 'next level' of counter steering is opened up to you.

You can't believe how much a better a bike feels through a corner when you Keep it stable.

You actually get to wondering why the Hell you haven't crashed it a long time ago as it feels so much better.

CSS can only be recommended as a slick operation and one I will be using again, special thanks to Johnny Haynes , my on track instructor, a man of not too many words, but what he says makes sense and immediately puts you on the road to enlightenment.

Thanks to all at CSS for a good day, see you later this year for Level 2

Level 1, Silverstone, 6 May 2008

What can I say? Firstly the people that run the school are the most professional group of people you could ever meet. They are there for you and ensure that you are as relaxed as you can be and you have no other concerns than learning a new set of skills. They really make it easy for you to concentrate on the important stuff!

The classroom sessions really get you thinking about what is going on when you are on the bike. If you've ever felt like you we're being taken for a ride by the bike they will help you turn the tables and explain how you are key to the process but at the time help you understand that being the key doesn't mean you need to be busy. It really help me get much better results from the minimum of input.

And then there are the track coaches. You are assigned a coach at the beginning of the day and they don't change between sessions. This really made me feel that the feedback he gave was based on what he'd seen throughout the day. I felt this was very important.

As you can probably tell I really enjoyed the day and it had a big positive impact on my cornering ability. I've been riding for 12 years and been doing trackdays for most of that time. I'm sure it has unlocked the door to the next level for me. I'm definitely coming back for more and I'm going to bring my girlfriend who has only being riding for a year as I think it will really help her cornering confidence. Let's get her some good habits before the bad habits set in!

Hi, I just needed to say a very BIG thankyou to all at CSS.

I did my level 1 on 19th April & Level 2 on 5th May.

I have attended another cornering course prior to this with another school and can with out a doubt say that I did not receive the same level training and in depth tutoring as I did when I attended the CSS.

The class room side of things was extremely useful and very informative, and with excellent track time and the track tutors input it is worth every penny.

I rode back from the Silverstone circuit on both occasions with a bigger grin on my face and a confidence that I have never felt before.

( I even had a little play with an R1 on the way back after level 2 and when I left him on the corners new that something had clicked with me an my bike!!!)

I also purchased a CSS jacket from the store on the day and wear it with pride!!

I will definitely be telling my buddies about it and can definitely recommend it to anyone reading this.... (its a must do)

I look forward to levels 3 & 4.

So Thanks alot to all of you (especially Jonny who said he put me forward for star pupil award.. LOL)

all the best, and I'll see you soon..

Level 1 Tues 6th May 2008

Previously I used to just charge into corners on the track without really thinking about what I was doing and pray that everything was still in order coming out the other side. Not any more.

The CSS team really break down every angle of what is needed to run through a corner faster, safer and easier. Knee down, toe sliders down, pegs down with minimal effort. Feedback from the bike now is much improved due to alterations in riding technique.

A whole day to practice new techniques and skills, no pressure to be the fastest, loads of on track time, lots of feedback from your instructor and indepth classroom tutorials from Andy Ibbott bring it all together.

You will be faster and safer after.

Both Kirk & myself went on the 5th May 2008 for level 1.

Before we attended the school we had completed several track days in the intermediate level & could hold our own with most guys on the track.

Kirk has been road riding for about 10 years & I started road riding again in 2006.

We wanted to get to the next level faster safer & in control.

So last year we decided to attened CSS.

We had a open mind before attending forgot every thing we had done before & we can only say with the help of everyone at the school our riding is much smoother more relaxed & yes we will be going faster. (without the fear factor.) We have booked brands GP & have both said we will be using our new skills & 85% limit, for now. "Stability" is the name of the game.

We both cant wait for the track day nor signing up for level 2 its like a drug you cant get enough California Superbike School what have you done to us.

Thank You to all the guys & girls & we will see you for level 2 soon Peter.J & Kirk.F
